Exclusive Beats: What You Actually Own

What an exclusive purchase includes

An exclusive purchase buys the beat for you alone: it is removed from sale and no further licenses are issued for it. The purchase transfers the master recording of the beat, while the underlying composition remains with the producer. The license document delivered with the purchase states the exact rights granted.

What remains with the producer

The producer keeps authorship of the composition, including the publishing share attached to it. The master recording changes hands; the composition does not. Credit the beat as Prod. Jyroz wherever credits are listed.

What you can do with the beat

You can record, release, distribute and monetise your song under the terms of the exclusive license. You may not resell or redistribute the beat itself as a standalone instrumental, and you may not transfer the license to another artist without written agreement.

Publishing and content matching

Do not register the beat with Content ID or any other content-matching system unless we have agreed to it in writing. Keep the delivered license document with your release files so your distributor can verify the rights if asked.

Where to read the exact terms

The full license terms and the current list of delivered files are shown on the Licenses page (/licenses) and confirmed at checkout. Read them before buying; they define what the purchase actually covers.
